We accept Zakat, Sadaqah and general donations to help fund our various scholarships, initiatives and campaigns. Throughout the year, we offer many low-income-zakat-eligible families scholarships to attend the Masjid's different programs. For this we have established a Zakat-based Scholarship Fund. Tuition for their religious studies only is subsidized through this Zakat-based Scholarship Fund.
We use zakat donations only for students in need. We do not spend your zakat for the acquisition, renovation, or maintenance of our physical infrastructure. Only students of families who are destitute, indigent, and debtors (tuition and related costs are considered debts that the student may owe to the Masjid) receive zakat funds that you entrust us to spend responsibly.
Please contact the office at (813) 922-8684 OR office@masjidalkhaliq.org if you need assistance to calculate your annual Zakat total. At the end, you can also choose to donate that amount to Masjid’s Scholarship Fund for students in need!

What is Masjid's private data policy?
Masjid Al Khaliq does not share, sell or exchange our donors private information with anyone.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
All donations are tax-deductible. Masjid Al Khaliq is a registered 501(c)3 with the IRS, Tax-id 85-0831695.
Do you accept Zakat?
Yes we do. Any Zakat will need to be mentioned very clearly so we handle it accordingly.
